The local phone number has been legally required by the FCC for each user to obtain to enable them to make and receive calls via the local phone number rather than a national relay call center phone number. This also allows the users to update their home address details in the system where when they call the emergency call center and the center will have the information already on their system once they accept the call.

Our CEO, Marcus Turley signs 'It is a very important step for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Americans to register a local phone number and update our system with up to date address details in order to receive relay service and if after the 12th of November, you have not registered a local phone number with us then your application won't be accepted otherwise we will not be covered by the FCC regulations if anything happens to any of the users in case of emergencies. So, get yourself signed up today and it is free!'
