‘Go Ahead’ is gone!

12th of November 2007 2.14pm GMT.

ERS Relay Service has been established to allow Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to make and receive phone calls without frustration, stress and limitations of technology. Our CEO, Marcus Turley signs ‘When making a phone call on the minicom, it involves having to wait for the receiving party (RP) to finish their sentence by using the famous abbreviation ‘GA’ for ‘Go Ahead’.   You might know what the RP is talking about or the RP may have misunderstood you and you’d like to interrupt them but you CAN’T.    This costs you more in call time and stress!  At ERS, we have abolished the use of ‘GA’ because our system allows you to type naturally and read the conversation in real time.  You can relax and be comfortable when making or receiving calls!
